Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Information you provide directly— such as your name, email address, mailing address, mobile phone number, and any details you share when you fill out a form, request an appointment, or contact us.
• Automatically collected information— such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, schedule, and manage our services and appointments;
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer service;
• Send appointment reminders, confirmations, and service-related communications, including by text message where you have opted in;
• Improve our website, services, and patient experience;

SMS / Text Messaging

Nova Spine & Rehab offers an SMS/text messaging program to communicate with patients and prospective patients about appointments, scheduling, reminders, customer service, and related information about our services.

How you opt in

You may opt in to receive text messages from us by providing your mobile phone number and giving your express consent — for example, by checking a consent box on a form on our website or a connected landing page, by completing an intake or booking form, or by texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at (571) 604-5007.

No sharing of mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising Technology

Our website uses cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies — including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to recognize your browser, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

The Meta Pixel and similar advertising technologies may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and the pages you visit on our site. This information may be shared with Meta and other advertising or analytics partners to help us deliver and measure ads, and to help those platforms improve their own advertising products. We do not send health information, patient records, or any other sensitive personal information through the Meta Pixel or any other tracking or advertising technology.

You can control or opt out of interest-based advertising by:

• Adjusting your ad preferences directly through Meta’s Ad Preferences;
• Using the opt-out tools provided by the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) or Network Advertising Initiative (NAI);
• Setting your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent — however, some parts of the website may not function properly without them.

Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers and subcontractors who perform services on our behalf (such as scheduling, customer service, or technology providers), and who are obligated to protect your information;
• Advertising and analytics partners (such as Meta), for the limited purpose of delivering and measuring advertising, as described above;
• Legal and safety reasons— when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our patients, staff, or others.

Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in information are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Our website may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
